The New Economy Challenge connects you to players from all over the country. This network will bring what your business or product needs to take off, in addition to a direct collaboration with the national innovation ecosystem!
You get to keep 100% ownership of your creation, being able to explore your idea after the innovation cycle.
PHASES
The New Economy Challenge will consist of three stages:
Mentoring of solutions
Hotsite;
Lives with market experts and Porto Digital's members on the Call Challenges, for clarification and doubts;
Dedicated channels to networking and connections;
Channel for solo proponents to identify partners to compose their team;

Selection of solutions for the final phase
Specialists from the local innovation ecosystem and the supporting companies will make a prior selection considering the requirements defined in this Regulation as enabling solutions for the final assessment, aiming at solving the challenges listed in the Innovation Briefing of this call.
The list of approved candidates for this phase will be published on this website. The proposal leaders will receive an email with feedbacks from experts for possible evolution of the solution and submission to the Investment Selection phase.
Investment selection
An innovation committee involving representatives of AD Diper and the supporting companies must judge, select and value the contribution in the solutions to be invested, according to the criteria of this Regulation.
SCHEDULE
COUNTERPARTY
The winning solutions must be developed or adapted, and in the end made available for up to 5 companies supporting this call through a free use license, for 01 (one) year, from the initial implementation on a date to be agreed between the parts;
Any costs with implementation, equipment, additional training, servers and other costs not associated with the free use license, will be negotiated on a case-by-case basis in the contracting stage, and cannot exceed the negotiated contribution amount;
Initial training for supporting companies, limited to a local unit of the same.
SUBMISSION OF THE PROPOSAL
Proposals must be sent by completing the electronic form.
SELECTION CRITERIA
Desirability - how much would the user like to use this product?
Economic Feasibility - will the target market want and be able to pay for this product?
Technical Feasibility - can this team develop, scale and keep this product working in the market?
Economic impact - refers to the extent of the impact expected with the effective use of the solution;
Scalability - refers to the solution's ability to be reproduced in large quantities and for a large number of customers;
Team - related to technical knowledge, physical resources and personnel for the continuous development of the solution;
Competitive advantage - Advantage of the proposed product compared to possible competitors.
The participant declares to be aware of the conditions of participation in the present project, mainly about the possibility of his idea or his innovation solution being rejected. The participant cannot question a justification send by the organization to receive his proposal, nor can he claim any loss for that reason.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The participant must ensure that the product and other materials to be developed during this Innovation Cycle do not infringe copyright, trade secret or any other property rights of third part.
The Intellectual Property on the materials, prototypes and solutions created will be the exclusive property of the participant, who may sell the developed solution to interested third part institutions, with the exception of the rule contained in the COUNTERPARTY item.
FINAL CONSIDERATIONS
The New Economy Challenge is an initiative of Porto Digital and the Industrial Development Agency of Pernambuco (AD Diper).
When participating in the Cycle treated in the present Regulation, the participants and companies accept all the terms in an unrestricted way, arranged in english language, authorizing the use of their contacts for the purpose of disclosing these Regulations during the period of the Innovation Cycle.
This cycle starts on July 22nd and destines investments of up to R$ 400.00,00.
Participants will have until 11:59 pm on August 5 to submit their solution ideas.
